The family of Emily Willis has provided a further heartbreaking update on the adult star's condition.
As previously reported, 25-year-old Willis was found unresponsive back in early February and quickly rushed to a medical facility in "critical condition".
Willis' stepfather, Michael, had provided several details about his daughter's condition to TMZ after her fans learned of her condition. He revealed that Emily had been staying in a well-known rehab center in Malibu for eight days before being rushed to the hospital.
She had apparently eaten very little prior to her hospitalization and weighed around 80lbs. Despite her battles with substance abuse, Michael says she was determined to get healthy.

Now, Emily's brother has provided a heartbreaking update on his sister's condition - as well as addressing some false information circulating about her well-being.
Writing in an update on Friday (March 8) on the GoFundMe page the family set up following Emily's hospitalization, her brother says: "I am posting this update to inform all her friends and fans who are concerned about my sister's wellbeing.
"There has been a lot of misinformation regarding our beloved Emily's condition, and we wanted to clarify her progress and current state.
"Emily remains in a vegetative coma and is fighting for her life. We have been by her side as she slowly tries to recover, but it will be a challenging journey ahead."

He adds: "The purpose of the GoFundMe campaign is to help her receive the necessary long-term care and other unexpected expenses that we discover while we work through this situation. The road to recovery is difficult and uncertain ahead of us, but we are doing everything we can to make sure Emily gets the care and love she needs."
The doting brother then slammed circulating reports that Emily had suffered an overdose, adding: "We want to clarify that they are not accurate as far as the doctors and my family know.
"Emily was receiving the treatment and help she needed at the time of the incident to overcome her struggles. She retired from the adult industry nearly two years ago and had aspirations of success in other fields of entertainment. Those who worked with her in her new career path knew she had the potential to achieve her dreams."

Willis' brother then thanked everybody for their ongoing support and for the donations that have been made. As of this writing, more than $42,000 has been raised for Willis' medical care.
"We want to express our gratitude to those who have donated, and please know that your generosity will greatly aid in Emily's ongoing recovery process," the update concludes.
Our thoughts continue to go out to Emily's loved ones at this time and we wish her all the best in her recovery journey.
