You’re missing out on the support you deserve because you’re searching for support you’ll never get 🙅🏽♀️As we celebrate our one year anniversary, I am reminded of just how amazing my husband is. He attends ALL of my presentations and performances, encourages me when I’m feeling down, pushes me to do better when I’m being lazy, and he always has my back. Before him, I looked to my job for that support. While sometimes it worked out, way too often was I left hurt and disappointed. You know why?Because I wasn’t letting my job just be my job. I was trying to get it to fill a role in my life that my contract never stipulated. Double check your contract… unless you see it explicitly stated that your job will support and fulfill you, stop expecting that. Sis… it’s ok to take a step back and find your support and fulfillment outside of your job. It doesn’t mean you can’t still operate in excellence, it just means that you’re actively choosing to live a life that is not dictated by how your day at work went. It’s time for you to start thriving, not just surviving. You are more than enough 🥰When you are getting swallowed up by the day to day grind, it can be easy to start questioning if you’re enough, if you are really in the right field, if you need to make a hard pivot or need to tough it out. Consider this: you wouldn’t be where you are if you weren’t MORE than enough. You worked hard for and earned your place, nothing was handed to you on a silver platter. And even if no one on that job acknowledges your greatness, deep down you KNOW you deserve the acknowledgment. 🥳 Celebration Week!!!I want to give a special happy birthday to my best friend, partner, biggest supporter, amazing provider, and all around awesome husband 🥰When we were choosing our wedding date, we decided that partying for a week straight would be right up our alley 🤣With his birthday on the 9th, our anniversary on the 11th, and my birthday on the 13th, this is a week full of joy, surprises, laughter, and countless blessings 💯I love you Babe 🥰
