Everything you need to know about buying Taylor Swift merch early in Cardiff (2024)

Taylor Swift fans can get to the official merchandise stalls a day early next week, as the Karma singer brings her Eras Tour to Cardiff. The stalls will be open from 10am at the Principality Stadium on Monday, June 17 - a day before the big gig on June 18.

As well as the standard merchandise stalls around the stadium, fans will be able to pick up early merch from the nearby Utilita Arena on Mary Ann Street. This is where VIP ticketholders from outside the UK will collect their merchandise packages too, as UK VIP ticketholders should have already received their in the post.

In both Edinburgh and Liverpool fans with and without tickets were afforded the luxury of two early merch shopping days. We've had it confirmed that you don't need a ticket to the show to buy at the Utilita Arena, and the early-open merch stall at the Stadium on Monday has the same items for sale.

• Gate 6 of Principality Stadium (10am - 8pm)

Tuesday, June 18:

Before entering the stadium, merchandise can be purchased from:

• Gate 6 & Gate 1 of Principality Stadium (10am - After show)

• Westgate Street retail unit (From midday - After show)

Can you still get tickets for Taylor Swift in Cardiff?

While official tickets were released and snapped up back in August 2023, there are still ways to get involved - even this close to the show.

Just over a week before the Cardiff date, a number of ‘partially obstructed limited view’ tickets were released for the show. These are typically initially held back by event organisers before they know just how much of the stadium's seated capacity will be taken up by the set. Now that the UK tour is in full swing and production staff know how much space is needed they have been made available.

Fans who registered for tickets last year but missed out may receive a code from Ticketmaster to enter the site’s queue. Hopefuls will only be able to purchase last minute tickets through official sites with a code.

Tickets are also available through third party resale sites such as Viagogo and VividSeats. Ticket prices range from as little as £469 to £1,5141 for Cardiff from Viagogo, at the time of writing. It is important to stress that many event promoters say tickets should not be resold after initial purchase and will not be valid for admittance to gigs.

Fans attending live events with tickets acquired through resale websites are advised to double check the ticket terms and conditions at the point of sale.

Sites such as Viagogo and Vivid Seats allow fans to buy resale tickets from other fans. However, it is important to note that many event promoters say tickets should not be resold after initial purchase and will not be valid for admittance to gigs.
Fans attending live events with tickets acquired through resale websites are advised to double-check the ticket terms and conditions at the point of sale - such as Ticketmaster or Live Nation - to ensure a smooth live event experience. Tickets could be voided if they were found to be bought second-hand. As a result, fans are buying at their own risk.
With that said, Viagogo also commented: "Viagogo is a regulated marketplace where fans have the guarantee."
